About the event
Where: Cape Shore Rd. Trailhead. Additional parking at the former Sunset Bar.
What: Cape Bonavista Fun Run and Walk. 5k and 10k
Description: The route begins at the Cape Shore Trailhead and ends at the Lighthouse.
For the 5k you will need to arrange a pickup. The 10k is an out and back.
There will be an aid station with water, an electrolyte drink and snacks at the halfway point of the route. The route is mostly on gravel, single-track paths with very short sections of road. The route will be well marked. There will be a pre-run/walk orientation at 8:50 am sharp. This is a trash-free event so bring your own water bottle, cup, or water bladder for the event. The event is free for everyone!
