For the past 12 years, St. John’s, Nfld based roots band Síochána (pronounced sha kahw naa) have evolved from kitchen party band to one of the top roots bands in the city. They play a mixture of Traditional Newfoundland, bluegrass, Celtic, folk and some old rock and roll music and are known for their tight harmonies and high energy shows on stage.
